The Journey

i feel you curled against me and let out a sigh of releaf feeling safe

-sneaks away and curls around crystal

i stretch out and fall asleep dreaming of old family and friends..

lays back down and falls asleep with the kids

I stop by a rock a curl up with a large yawn

-hears your howl and perks up-

I howl a song
then stop and walk back

wakes up

i pick it up and move across more of the ashes and the burry it in the ground.

falls back asleep

wads across the river onto the other bank and stops staring into the burnt land. I wipe away soot and under my paw a small bud lays

-looks up as you walk away-

i pad away

-falls asleep with the pups-

Destiny curls up and cyan rests her head on your back.

I stand a distance away still staring off, "What do i do... I wont ever forget..."

wraps my self around the kids

Cyan looks up at you and so does destiny.
Cold winds blow indicating winters slow arrival.

i go over to the kids and lay with them

cyan says doubtfully: ok...
she trails over to destiny and the two of them lie down like they would when they were younger.

i just wander over to the nearby stream looking into it thinking of all friends, family and loved ones now passed

shes just tired sweety

smiles "alright"
Sprints off towards home only stopping once we arrive. I'm a bit shacky once we arrive for all the time i had gone without eating and that hazy shade had returned.

Cyan: dad whats wrong with mom...

Destiny stands off in the distance a bit worried

gets up ok lets go

Snorts "whatever I'm leaving i want to get home"

five more minutes i manage to say and turn over

starts to growl, hits snow with paw saying, "we need to go. NOW"
